Our Vet believes he was deprived of nutrition while in his mother's womb because she was malnourished. She was a stray in our then neighborhood and we eventually trapped her and had her vetted. She and Booger Roux were reunited in 2015.

While Booger Roux is very energetic he does have some issues such as he cannot meow like a normal cat and he also needs extra comfort and calming and requires a Thunder shirt sometimes, especially at night.

People need to understand just because a pet looks different doesn't mean they can't be a good pet. In my 20 years of being a pet mom, Booger Roux has been a very affectionate and loving pet who brings great therapy to me and my husband.

This page was created in September 2019 to bring awareness to disabled felines and to help educate and inspire others to find better homes for pets with special needs.
